Treatments
Four modalities, one treatment plan.
Treatments are rarely isolated here. Structural, circulatory and nervous‑system work are combined around the cause of your symptoms, not just the symptom.
Acupuncture Therapy
Precise stimulation of the nervous system to relieve pain, regulate stress and trigger the body’s own repair. Three techniques, chosen per diagnosis.
Cupping Therapy
Suction lifts tissue rather than compressing it, flooding a muscle region with fresh blood flow to reduce pain and speed recovery.
Medical Massage
Not a spa massage. Targeted manual work on the structures named in your diagnosis, by a licensed therapist with a physiotherapy background.
Medical Injections
Homeopathic pain injections for inflamed joints and nerve pain, plus B‑12 and lipotropic support for energy and metabolism.
Stacking modalities for better outcomes
Most patients leave their first consultation with a plan that combines two or three of these treatments. Structural work through medical massage, nervous‑system regulation through acupuncture, and circulatory flushing through cupping reinforce each other, so pain settles faster and stays settled longer than any one treatment tends to achieve on its own.
Dr. Rusnak decides the combination after your consultation, tongue and pulse examination, and a review of your history. The plan is written down, revisited as you progress, and adjusted when your body responds.
The modality matrix
How each treatment works.
| Treatment | Mechanism | Target system | Primary benefit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Acupuncture | Needle stimulation of specific points | Central nervous system and meridians | Relieves pain and stress, triggers natural healing and endorphin release |
| Cupping | Negative pressure, tissue lift | Fascia and circulatory pathways | Increases local blood flow, aids recovery, relaxes muscle |
| Medical massage | Physician‑directed manual pressure | Musculoskeletal structure | Addresses specific diagnosed conditions through targeted manipulation |
| Homeopathic injections | Subcutaneous or perineural delivery | Local inflammation and nerve response | Non‑cortisone option for joint pain, nerve pain and fatigue |

Not a spa
AcuMedGroup is a clinic in Kissimmee’s Medical Arts District, and every treatment here is chosen for a clinical reason. It is also a quiet, unhurried place, and most patients find the sessions deeply relaxing. Both things are true.
