Terms & Conditions for AcuMedGroup LLC
Effective Date: 08/01/2024 Last Updated: April 26, 2026
1. Corporate Overview and Cross-Entity Disclosure
AcuMedGroup LLC (“AcuMedGroup,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an integrative wellness and aesthetic clinic located in Kissimmee, Florida.
AcuMedGroup is under common ownership with Healing Skin Medical Aesthetics LLC and Dr. Rusnak Wellness LLC, which function as separate legal entities. Products sold or promoted within the clinic may originate from Dr. Rusnak Wellness or other manufacturers for which AcuMedGroup acts solely as a retail vendor. Each entity maintains its own operating policies, payment rules, and refund procedures.
2. Eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years of age to receive services or access this website. Minors may receive services only with the verified consent of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Scope of Services
AcuMedGroup provides acupuncture, oriental and functional medicine, aesthetic, and wellness procedures, as well as educational and informational content. Services are delivered by licensed professionals in compliance with Florida law.
Online content is provided for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. These Terms operate together with AcuMedGroup’s Privacy Policy, HIPAA Notice / Notice of Privacy Practices, and applicable consent forms or treatment-specific disclosures.
4. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete information when scheduling or communicating with AcuMedGroup and for maintaining the confidentiality of any online accounts or communications.
5. Payment and Financing Terms
Clients may pre-pay for individual sessions, treatment packages, or programs. Payments may be processed through Square or another approved payment processor. AcuMedGroup does not store full credit card numbers on its own website servers.
Financing options may be offered through third-party providers such as Cherry, Klarna, Affirm, Denefits, and similar companies. All financing arrangements are contracts between the client and the financing provider, and AcuMedGroup is not responsible for the approval, denial, servicing, interest rates, fees, or repayment terms established by those third-party financing providers.
By providing a valid payment method, you authorize AcuMedGroup to charge your card or account for agreed-upon services, including late-cancellation or no-show fees. You further agree not to dispute these authorized charges with your financial institution.
Refunds, when approved, may be issued as a credit toward future services or as a cash refund, at our sole discretion.
6. Cancellations and No-Show Policy
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment or failure to appear will incur a $50 fee charged to the payment method on file.
Rescheduling more than 24 hours in advance incurs no penalty.
This policy applies to all appointments, including medical, acupuncture, and aesthetic services.
7. Insurance, Billing, and Patient Financial Responsibility
7.1 No Guarantee of Coverage
Insurance eligibility and prior-authorization checks are estimates only and do not guarantee coverage or payment. Insurance plans—including VA/Community Care, Medicaid programs, Medicare Advantage, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and others—may change coverage policies at any time, may retroactively deny or recoup payments, and may apply deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, visit limits, and other plan rules outside AcuMedGroup’s control.
7.2 Patient Responsibility for All Amounts Not Paid by Insurance
You agree to pay all balances not covered by your insurance, including deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, non-covered services, expired/withdrawn authorizations, and retroactive denials. If an insurer reverses or reduces payment after initial adjudication, you authorize AcuMedGroup to bill your payment method on file or invoice you for the balance.
7.3 Network Participation May Change
AcuMedGroup’s participation (“in-network” status) with any payer may change without notice. Out-of-network rates and patient responsibility will apply when applicable.
7.4 Assignment of Benefits and Release of Information
You assign insurance benefits directly to AcuMedGroup and authorize us to file claims, receive payment, disclose necessary information, and appeal denials on your behalf. You authorize AcuMedGroup to endorse checks payable to you for services we provide.
7.5 Accuracy of Insurance Information
You must provide complete and accurate insurance information and promptly notify us of any coverage changes. Failure to do so may result in denials for which you are financially responsible.
7.6 Time-of-Service Payments and Copays
All copayments and required time-of-service payments are due at the time of service. Any additional patient responsibility identified later must be paid upon notice.
7.7 VA / Medicaid / Program Authorizations
Program services proceed only while authorization is active. If authorization is declined, withdrawn, or limited, you may elect to proceed as self-pay at posted rates or cancel under Section 6.
7.8 Good Faith Estimate (GFE) for Self-Pay Patients
Uninsured or self-pay patients may request a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges per the federal No Surprises Act.
7.9 Third-Party Liability
If another party or insurer (auto, workers’ comp, liability) is responsible, you must provide details; you remain liable for balances not paid.
7.10 Refunds and Overpayments
Overpayments will be refunded to the original payment method or by check once payer reconciliation is complete.
7.11 Collections and Fees
Balances unpaid after 30 days may be referred to collections. You agree to pay reasonable collection costs and, where permitted, attorney’s fees incurred to recover the debt.
8. Product Sales and Return Policy
AcuMedGroup sells wellness and skincare products from Dr. Rusnak Wellness and other approved vendors. All product sales are final for hygienic and safety reasons.
Exception for Defective Items: Defective products may be exchanged or refunded within 7 days of receipt upon verification by AcuMedGroup. Contact clinic@acumedgroup.com for return instructions.
Products purchased online are fulfilled by Dr. Rusnak Wellness LLC or the designated manufacturer.

By scheduling or receiving telehealth consultations, you consent to care delivered via electronic communications. You acknowledge and accept the potential risks of telehealth, including technical failures or data interception. AcuMedGroup complies with HIPAA and applicable telehealth laws to protect your information.

- Message & data rates may apply.
- Marketing or promotional texts are sent only after separate opt-in consent.

AcuMedGroup may maintain records of SMS/MMS consent, including timestamps, source of opt-in, method of opt-in, and communication preferences, in accordance with carrier, platform, and telecommunications compliance requirements.

AcuMedGroup may use secure and contractually bound technology platforms to support scheduling, communications, payment processing, marketing communications, website performance, security, and administrative operations. These may include Square for payment processing, GoHighLevel / LeadConnector for CRM and communications, Mailchimp for email communications, Cloudflare for website security and hosting infrastructure, and similar approved vendors or successors. Where a vendor creates, receives, maintains, or transmits protected health information (PHI) on AcuMedGroup’s behalf, appropriate HIPAA-related safeguards or agreements are used as required by law.
13. Digital Content and Media Usage
With written consent, clients and students authorize AcuMedGroup to use de-identified before-and-after photos, testimonials, or video clips for marketing, educational, and promotional purposes across digital and print media. Consent may be revoked in writing; materials already produced may continue to be used until naturally retired.
14. Student Conduct and Education Programs

Any dispute or claim shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in Osceola County, Florida.
You waive the right to a jury trial. Florida law governs these Terms. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
